‘J&K close to heart of PM’

SRINAGAR, July 22: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) senior leader, who is also Bihar’s Minister for Industries, Shahnawaz Hussain, today said that Jammu and Kashmir has been progressing at a very fast pace and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured an immediate end to the dynasty.
Hussain was addressing a press conference here during which he underlined the works which have been executed by the Modi Government in J&K.
On the occasion, the BJP leader said that PM Modi has got immense care and love for Kashmir and that he has made sure that J&K sees a new era of development and progress.
“Kashmir is close to the heart of PM Modi as is his own constituency Banaras; under the leadership of PM Modi and here, LG Manoj Sinha, Jammu Kashmir has been touching new heights of development,” he said.
The Minister who is also BJP’s national spokesperson said that for the last several decades, the politicians used to suck the blood of common people in J&K. “They used to befool the people and saw their interests,” he said.
He added that a common person in Kashmir is enjoying the facilities of better roads, health and education.
“The employment graph is going up; outside investors are investing in J&K and also, a top businessman who has started Lulu Mall in Uttar Pradesh is all set to invest in Kashmir,” he said.
On the holding of Assembly elections in J&K, Shahnawaz Hussain said that the Election Commission of India is going to decide the timing of the elections in the UT while underlining that a bureaucratic setup cannot be a substitute for the elected Government.
He said that the people will end dynasty politics by the power of the vote in Jammu and Kashmir. “When it has been finished in the country, why not in Jammu and Kashmir”, he added.
The BJP leader said the people will end dynasty politics by the power of vote in J&K. “…that a hole has been created in a big boat how can it be possible for the small ones to float”, he added.
“When dynastic politics of Congress has ended, those who were responsible for pushing other dynastic politics in States will also end”, Hussain said.
Replying to a question regarding if other non-BJP parties will form a Government in J&K and will relinquish the foreign investment law, he said it is “foolish” what they are saying. “The laws are being implemented in all the States equally.”
“These are all the dreams of Mongeri Lal. Nothing such will happen…the People of Jammu and Kashmir will come to know” he said.
