DODA, May 13: The residents of tehsil Marmat held a protest against absenteeism of officers and staff in various departments.
They also protested against deteriorating condition of the Goha-Khellani road and frequent power cuts.
While talking to media persons, the protesters pointed out their directories and file work are still incomplete despite lapse of several months.
They also raised the issue of shortage of basic amenities and absenteeism of several officers and staff in various departments including BDO and Tehsil offices.
“Due to non availability of officers and basic amenities, we are facing manifold problems, which forced us to come on road and held protest”, they said and warned to intensify the protest if their demands are not redressed in the shortest possible time.
They also demanded probe into the absenteeism of officers and staff in various departments.
