RAJOURI, Apr 3: The Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri initiated legal action against violators of face mask order under SOPs of COVID-19 and realised fine from violators.
In various areas of Rajouri district, teams of police laid special nakas and intercepted people roaming in market and public places without face masks.
All these people who were violating order of wearing face masks, issued by competent authority were fined for violation.
In Thannamandi Sub-Division alone, fine to the tune of Rs 12,100 was realised from violators. Mask checking drive was also undertaken in Rajouri City and Manjakote areas.
