SRINAGAR: Upping the ante on Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former chief minister Omar Abdullah alleged that people are enjoying the Governor’s Rule in Jammu and Kashmir as the coalition Government failed miserably during its ten-month tenure.
“It is amazing that the State is being run by the Governor and the people of Jammu and Kashmir are not complaining. In fact they are enjoying Governor’s rule after more than the ten-month tenure of the PDP-BJP coalition Government. It depicts that during its ten-month tenure, the Government failed miserably”, Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), said.
“People are actually enjoying the absence of ministers. They say that the ministers have not done anything at least the Governor would work for their betterment”, he added. Hitting out at PDP president Mehbooba Mufti for not forming Government in the State, Mr Abdullah said that she was of the opinion that if she keeps this uncertainty looming over the regime formation, people would plead her to form the Government.
