JAMMU, Nov 15: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Bishnah constituency FC Bhagat while seeking massive participation in the biggest democratic exercise said that the people can change the destiny of nation by power of their vote.
Intensifying door-to-door campaign in Soungli, Dalani, Karyal and Godwal areas of Bishnah constituency, Bhagat along with Youth PDP leader Chatar Saini, district president, Hari Ram Saini, Babu Ram Saini, Bagwan Dass sarpanch, SP Charak from Kissan Cell and other met a cross section of people, especially youth and women and spelt out the initiatives taken by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Government, especially for women and youth.
“PDP has the vision for women and youth empowerment”, Bhagat said while interacting with the people of Soungli and Dalani. He also visited Karyal and Godwal, interacted with the people, and listened to their demands.
While pointing towards the problems being faced by the residents of Soungli, Dalani, Karwal and Godwal, FC Bhagat regretted that except foundation installing stones and boards nothing concrete had been done to provide basic amenities to the people.
Countering claims of those who were claiming to accelerate developmental activities in this segment, he said that there was unequal development in this segment. He said that most of the deserving areas lacked even basic amenities what to say of development.
Favoritism and nepotism are on its peak and people are suffering badly due to non-availability of essential commodities, he said and assured the public of overall development of the Bishnah Constituency.
