JAMMU, July 24: The J&K State Pensioners Association has demanded enhancement of medical allowances of pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 and payment of Seventh Pay Commission arrears in one go.
In a handout Krishan Singh, Association President has appealed to the Finance Department to extend promotion benefits under SRO 42 to the pensioners.
He said that pensioners are finding it difficult to meet with the medical expenses so their medical allowanced should be enhanced.
