JAMMU, July 4: A meeting of Displaced Medical Education Department Pensioners Welfare Association was held here today under the chairmanship of P K Peshin in which the problems being faced by pensioners were discussed.
The meeting demanded sanction of 10 percent DA in favour of pensioners, enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000, .
P K Koul another office bearer of the Association demanded release of the fourth installment of pay arrears. Gouri Shanker, B K Koul, M L Raina, S C Fotedar also attended the meeting.
