REASI, Feb 27: A female pedestrian was knocked to death by a rashly driven tipper at Arnas, here today.
The deceased was identified as Lal Begum, wife of Sadar Din, resident of Thuroo Pattian, Tehsil Thuroo. She reportedly died on the spot after being hit a tipper JK02AE-2961, which was on its way from Narloo to Kanthan.
Driver of the tipper fled from the spot after the accident. The dead body was later shifted to PHC Arnas. In this regard a case FIR No. 11/2018 U/S 279/304-A RPC has been registered at PS Arnas.
