SRINAGAR, Feb 27: Police arrested five gamblers and recovered Rs 10,694 as stake money here today.
A police spokesman said that a police party of Police Station Nishat on a tip off raided a gambling site and apprehended five gamblers with stake money of Rs 10,694 and playing cards from their possession.
‘In this connection, a case with FIR 10/18 under Section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up,” he said.
