SAMBA, Feb 27: On the directions of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra, a police party of Police Station Vijaypur led by Inspector, Suraj Singh Pathania under the direct supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur launched a crackdown on bikers and seized 38 number of two wheelers under various sections of laws for wrong parking on Vijaypur Chowk, National Highway, Vijaypur.
The seized vehicles were kept under the custody of Police Station, Vijaypur. It is pertinent to mention here that a number of complaints have been received from the locals of area regarding congestion of Vijaypur Chowk as well as NHW Vijaypur by vehicles especially two wheelers which were wrongly / haphazardly parked.
The people of the area appreciated the good work done by the district police Samba for taking appropriate action against the bikers as it would be of great help to smoothen the traffic congestion in the area.
