JAMMU, June 15: Peaks Auto inaugurated its 5th main outlet in Jammu and Kashmir at Shivaji Chowk, Nanak Nagar and Country’s best workshop at Toph Sherkhania, Akhnoor Road.
On the occasion, T Hashimoto and RS Kalsi, Executive Directors of Maruti Suzuki India Limited were chief guests, who inaugurated the Peaks Auto’s 5th outlet in presence of Pankaj Narula, Executive Director, Partho Banerjee, Vice President, Aditya Agarwal, Vice President, RS Akela, Vice President Sales, Suresh Babu, Zonal Service head, Madhurendra Mallu, Regional Manager, bankers, customers and eminent personalities.
Baldev Singh, MD and CEO said “Peaks Auto is the fastest growing dealership company in last six years and has been recognized as 2nd biggest dealership of Maruti Suzuki in North-2. Peaks Group has a widespread and a large service network across Jammu and Kashmir. Group has established 5 main outlets, 5 E-outlets and 4 R-outlets across State”.
Singh also informed that Peaks Group has dominant presence in distribution of spare parts in Kashmir and Ladakh division. The network includes sales, service and spares including road side assistant with pick and drop facilities, adding that the company has been recognized as platinum dealer and club 500 dealership by Maruti Suzuki.
The spare parts retail outlet of Leh has been recognized as highest altitude passenger car spare parts outlet by Limca Book of Records, added Singh.
Singh said that Peaks Group has already established a state-of-art workshop at Gangyal and a showroom at Kaluchack, adding that in addition, a premier car segment dealership NEXA was also established in September last year.
“We have reached out to the customers of the rural segment and has provided the services to customers at their door steps by establishing out outlets in Sunderbani, Surankote, Kalakote, Nagrota, etc and the same has been the main mantra behind the success of Peaks Auto”, Baldev Singh asserted.
While interacting with media persons, RS Kalsi, Executive Director, Maruti Suzuki India Limited informed that this outlet is Maruti Suzuki’s 1988th showroom. He said that in J&K, Maruti Suzuki is having 70 per cent market share and across India is 47.5 per cent. He added that there are more than 1000 True Value showrooms, where customers can purchase the old car at affordable prices.
“Our focus is on technology control, safety, environment friendly and fuel efficiency”, he said, adding that middle class persons always stay behind after thinking of fuel expenses, but we have introduced the cars with best fuel efficiency according to the desire of the customers especially middle class.
He said stated that the workshop inaugurated at Toph Sherkhania is the Country’s best workshop, adding that at this workshop the customers will get all the facilities.
T Hashimoto, Executive Director, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said that Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) had brought revolution in the cars segment by launching Maruti 800 earlier and has recently launched various models equipped with style, technology, etc.
He added that buoyed by sale of vehicles equipped with auto gear shift, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) plans to offer two-pedal technologies in more models. “Overall, the objective is to expand the two-pedal technologies that bring comfort and ease of driving to the customers”, Hashimoto asserted.
Replying to a query, Hashimoto and Kalsi asserted that Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) will make a big entry into the SUV segment very soon and that too with all the latest technologies.
