PDP’s concern over shortage of LPG in Kokernag

ANANTNAG, Dec 25: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed grave concern over shortage of LPG in the Kokernag area and demanded opening of a gas agency there.
The Party which held a meeting at Kokernag today under the leadership of Abdul Rahim Rather its Zonal president and vice president of the district Anantnag took the authorities to task for not paying attention towards the problem.
The meeting, which was also addressed by MLC Nizam-ud-Din Khatana demanded that registration process of domestic gas be expedited in the area.
It also discussed the post MLC elections scenario and stressed on strengthening the party at grass root level so that its formula of self-rule and good governance reaches every nook and corner.
It also expressed serious concern over the death of young girl in Kokernag hospital due to failure of authorities in providing in time ambulance to shift her to district hospital for better treatment and demanded probe into the matter.
