PDP leader seeks roll back of LPG prices

SRINAGAR, Dec 11:  While describing hike in the LPG prices as anti-people and unwarranted, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today criticized the Government for deliberately punishing the common man.
In a press statement issued here today, former Minister and PDP candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, Tariq Hamid Karra demanded immediate roll back on the prices LPG. Mr Karra said that the hike in the prices of cooking gas shows that the Government is on war with the common people who are already facing brunt of unprecedented inflation.
He pointed out that NC-led Government in the State has miserable failed  to give any relief to the people, over the last five years and now the anti-people policies of the Government have made people’s life miserable. He alleged that faulty distribution of cooking gas in Kashmir valley has left the people to suffer. Even the hefty electricity bills every month have added salt to the people’s woes. He stressed for the immediate roll back on the LPG price hike.
