JAMMU, Nov 28: Seeking support of the people to change present corrupt and inept system, PDP candidate for Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment S Amrik Singh Reen today said vote in favour of PDP would intensify the campaign for change in Jammu and Kashmir.
“PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti has already launched a campaign to throw out the present corrupt dispensation”, Mr Reen said while addressing a number of meetings at Karan Bagh, Barjala, Chatha and many other places.
“Attaining power is not the only aim of PDP. We, with the support of the people, want to change the present ineffective system”, he said and added that it was aim of the PDP to establish a system where every sections of the society would get equal opportunities of development and upliftment.
Reen said that Cong has lost its ability to represent the aspirations of the people and that is the reason it has been virtually wiped out from the political scene of the State. “Gone are the days when political parties used to hoodwink gullible masses by propagating divisive politics. Now people want development and progress and PDP is committed to implement developmental agenda in J&K”, he said.
