REASI, June 19: PDP cadre today expressed strong resentment with PDP High Command over Kalakote mandate alleging that many deserving and prominent leaders have been ignored while those who do not have any hold and contact in the area have been given mandate.
Thousands of workers including many Panchs and Sarpanchs of Kalakote resented the mandate given to a man hailing from Mendhar area. They alleged that Syed Bari did not have any contact in the area while Baji Muzaffar Shah also managed the mandate forcibly and on the other hand prominent leaders including Abdul Gani Kohli has been ignored for mandate who is working on ground since last 5 years.
“It is cocked sure that Shah is in no position at all even to save his security, therefore we appeal the High Command to re-consider the decision so that the Kalakote Assembly Seat is easily taken by PDP”, PDP workers said and warned the High Command that thousands of PDP workers will resign if the decision is not re-considered.
