JAMMU, Oct 3: Provincial President Youth National Conference, Ajaz Jan today exported youth to gear up for facing challenges to the State, saying Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a most difficult phase.
Chairing a meeting of district presidents of the hilly reaches of Jammu, Jan said the youth have to play a big role in steering out the State from present morass. He held the PDP-BJP dispensation responsible for the crisis like situation caused due to developmental and administrative inertia.
He said the present coalition has negated the gains of peace and development heralded during the tenure of Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister. “Today, we are in a situation where in the people have been left in lurch by the insensitive government”, he added.
Leaders from hilly reaches put forth a number of issue of the area with main focus on poor condition of roads and erratic utility services like power and drinking water supply.
Jan castigated State Government for closing eyes towards the development of hilly reaches of Jammu.
