PDP-BJP Govt failed on all fronts: NC

KARGIL, May 4: Senior NC leaders and former ministers, Qamar Ali Akhoon and Feroz Ahmad Khan today said that present PDP-BJP Coalition Government in the State has failed on all fronts.
While addressing a meeting of party workers here at TFC Bemathang, Akhoon and Khan said that people of the State are fed up with this Government which has done nothing for the public except making hollow promises.
“Present Coalition Government in State as well as local Hill Council has failed on front of deliverance despite making lofty promises”, they said, adding, National Conference alone can steer Jammu and Kashmir from the present mess and ensure agenda of peace, progress and development.
District president of the party, Haji Hanifa Jan, in his address, said the doors of the party are always open for all those who believe in the programme and policies of the party and want to serve the people with sincerity of purpose. He also urged party workers to come up in large number to show party’s strength in upcoming rally at Drass and Kargil which is to be address by working president and former CM, Omar Abdullah.
Those present on the occasion included party councilors, senior leaders, district committee members, block presidents and their executives, and a large number of party workers. A number of prominent activities of other parties joined the NC on the occasion.
