Army rescues school kids

SRINAGAR, May 4: Army rescued 25 school kids along with the driver of the school bus who met with an accident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An Army spokesman said that a school bus met with a road accident at Patahiri Chowk near Trehgam.
He said the local authorities informed the nearest Army Camp at Patahiri, who immediately responded by rushing to the spot and rescued the 25 school students along with the driver of the ill fated bus.
“The students suffered minor superficial injuries and were referred to District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. An Army recovery vehicle was quickly pressed into service and the bus was also recovered,” he said.
