JAMMU, Apr 28: PDD is perhaps the most notorious department which has a long history of corruption, maladministration and incompetence, money generation organization for its staff and those connected with it directly or indirectly.
This was stated by the group of people who visited Excelsior and lodged complaint the residents of the congested locality of Jawahar Nagar in the proximity of Talab Tiloo Chowk, a few days ago, some officials of the JMC accompanied by Executive Engineer of PDD paid an inspection visit to the locality and interacted with the office bearers of the welfare society of the locality of Jawahar Nagar.
While JMC assured prompt action the Executive Engineer PDD plainly and categorically said hat he could do nothing because the schedule of load shedding was the sole authority of the Chief Engineer. This caused disappointment to the residents.
