JAMMU, Mar 5: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has invited serious attention of the Govt over growing concern amongst the people over the presence of Coronavirus in the country and the possible spread of the disease in the days to come.
Expressing concern over reports of two suspects with symptoms if the disease having fled from hospital, JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has asked the Govt and Health authorities to rise to the occasion to meet the challenge. Apart from massive awareness at all schools and all work places besides through media including social media, strict instructions and actions are needed.
Appreciating the cognizance of the matter by the High Court, it said continuous monitoring of the situation at multiple levels would be required.
He said the services of different Govt departments and NGOs besides different organizations should be utilized immediately in view of the vulnerability of Jammu Kashmir being a famous tourists and pilgrims destinations.
