SRINAGAR, Apr 9: J&K People’s Conference (PC) held a workers meeting at Gurzhama Wakoora in Ganderbal district today under the leadership of Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani, the district coordinator of the party and a trade unionist.
The meeting appealed the people to join hands with Party’s slogan of total change in the State as the successive Governments in general and Congress-NC coalition in particular have harmed the interests of the people of the State.
They said whenever the two parties joined the hands the State was gripped in grave crisis as they always misused democratic institutions and snatched the freedom of the people for remaining in power by hook or by crook.
Addressing the meeting Mir Ghulam Rasool said that the corruption, lawlessness, problems of power cuts, water crisis, scarcity of ration, poverty and unemployment are because of the wrong policies of the two parties.
Later a meeting was held by PC leader with cricket and foot ball players of area and Mir apprised them of the policies and programmes of party under the leadership of its chairman Sajjad Gani Lone.
