UDHAMPUR, May 21: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Kumar Gupta, kick-started black topping of Jib Padanoo and Manmella link roads taken up under PMGSY. He was accompanied by Rohit Sethi, Shashi Sharma, Charanjeet Singh, Sandeep Khajuria, Rajinder Sharma, Madan Lal, Subaah Sharma, Gopal Dass, AEE PHE Ashok and JE PHE Joginder Jandial and others.
Large number of people drawn from all walks of life were present on the occasion, who appreciated the MLA for fulfilling their long pending demand. While speaking on the occasion Pawan Gupta said that upgradation of the link roads will go a long way in mitigating problem of the people to a great extent. He divulged that large scale other developmental works in Udhampur Constituency are on anvil.
Gupta further divulged that he was committed to fulfill the commitments made by him in phased manner and will leave no stone unturned to launch sustained developmental activities in such a manner that Udhampur is made a model constituency.
On the occasion the populace of the area brought into notice of the MLA the scarcity of potable drinking water and problem of electricity. Pawan Gupta issued onspot instructions to the functionaries of the concerned departments to take immediate necessary steps for making available basic amenities to the people.
