UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: MLA Udhampur Assembly constituency, Pawan Gupta today kick started work on black topping of 500 meter road of Balak Nagar, adjoining village Dandyal in Udhampur.
While launching the black topping work, Pawan Gupta said that it was his duty to deliver the goods to the people because they voted and elected him as their representative in the State Assembly. “Over all development of Udhampur Assembly constituency is my mission,” he added.
On this occasion, ex- Sarpanch Puran Sharma said that village Balak Nagar was being ignored from the last 12 years as this road, constructed 15 years back, was never repaired since then and thus had totally damaged resulting into inconvenience to pedestrians.
The problem was brought into the notice of MLA, who initiated the black topping of this road involving cost of Rs 15 lakh.
Raj Kumar Bucha, Jeevan Sharma, Rohit Sethi, Ram Lal Sharma, Kirpal Singh and Vikas Chander were accompanying the MLA.
