JAMMU, Oct 13: In a very simple and colorful program at Mand East, Udhampur, MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency Pawan Gupta has distributed free LPG (cooking gas) connections to the beneficiaries under Ujwala Yojna scheme of Government of India. In his address Pawan Gupta assured the people that the deserving families of BPL those are not still enlisted in the survey to eligible for getting new LPG connections will shortly bring under the survey of CAPD Department and in this regard he has already submitted the request with the CAPD Minister. Gupta has also given necessary instructions to the LPG distributers to aware the new LPG connection holders of the secure usage of LPG. He disclosed that very soon solar cookers and fire wood cholas to the people will be made available.
The function held under the presidentship of Ex-Sarpanch Mansa Ram who appreciated MLA Pawan Gupta in his address by disclosing that Gupta as the MLA of Udhampur Assembly Constituency has taken a good initiative for over all development. He highlighted that opening of new ration depot and a community hall, in Mand area are the mile stone achievements of Pawan Gupta as the representative of the Constituency. Sanctioning of many old age, widow and handicapped pensions in Mand Panchayat are his other achievements, he added.
Raj Kumar Bucha, Raj Muhummad Chandail and Sanjay Kumar the political activists were also present in the function.
