JAMMU, Nov 23: Apni Party (AP) Provincial president Jammu Women Wing, Pavneet Kour has demanded revamping of developmental activities in Hakkal area of Satwari.
During a meeting with locals at Hakkal, Kour discussed developmental issues and the participants claimed lack of basic amenities.
She assured that she would highlight the developmental issues with the administration for early redressal.
“The developmental activities are missing in Hakkal especially schemes for construction of toilets and houses are nowhere in the area,” Kour claimed adding: “The authorities should give benefit of the scheme to poor and needy families by constructing toilets and houses in Hakkal.”
She also demanded installation of the street lights in the area.
“Hakkal is facing backwardness because of negligence of traditional political parties which exploited the people with hollow slogans of development,” the AP leader maintained.
The meeting was attended by AP Provincial vice president Transport Union, Devinder Gill; Provincial general secretary, Transport Union, Yash Choudhary; Ritu, Varsha, Sunita, Bably and others.
