JAMMU, Mar 25: Informing that the court has restrained BJP leader Narayan Singh from carrying out any financial powers of Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, president of the Sabha, Judge ( Retd) Pavitar Singh Bhardwaj today called upon the Rajput Biradri to take immediate measures for saving remaining property of the Sabha Bhawan from further damage.
“Court of 1st Additional Judge in the suit filed by some Rajput Biradri members against the Vice President BJP J&K Narayan Singh, self proclaimed President of the Sabha, has restrained him from carrying out any commercial or financial transactions of the Sabha,” he said, while addressing a press conference, here today.
The court also held that no elections of Rajput Sabha have been held after 2006 and as per Constitution of the Sabha, member of any political party cannot hold post of President of Rajput Sabha, Mr Bhardwaj added.
He alleged that Narayan Singh along with some mafia not only badly destroyed the heritage property of historic Raj Tilak Bhawan but also swindled away crores of rupees taken from the businessmen for leasing out various shops, halls, etc, constructed illegally by dismantling the Bhawan flouting all the norms for raising construction over the age old heritage complex.
He also appealed all the tenants, who have obtained premises from Narayan Singh, not to pay rent in cash and instead deposit the same in court as the matter is subjudice. “Otherwise appropriate action may follow under law at their own risk and cost which may lead to their eviction and recovery of all sort of monetary losses caused to Rajput Sabha,” he added.
Pavitar Singh Bhardwaj further disclosed that an investigation by Crime Branch was also going on for usurping the property of Rajput Sabha for personal gains by committing fraud.
Urging the whole Rajput Biradri to jointly take immediate necessary steps to save the remaining property and Head Quarter of the Rajput Biradari of J&K, Mr Bhardwaj assured on behalf of all the office bearers and members of the Working Committee that they shall leave no stone unturned for carrying out their duty to bring the factual position of this whole fraud committed by these elements.
Prominent among others, present during the press conference, included Sudhir Dogra (Retd IGP), Bishambar Singh Jasrotia, Kuljeet Jamwal, Pawan Manhas and Deepu Chib.
