JAMMU, Jan 21: All J&K Patwar Association here today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President, Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai to discuss problems of Patwaries.
Speaking in the meeting Ganai said that the Committee constituted by the State Government to look into the demands of the Association, had recommended for the removal of grade pay anomaly, creation of GQ Circles, ban on direct recruitment of Naib Tehsildar, conducting timely DPC of Patwaries and GQ and rent/construction for Patwar Khanas etc.
The Association leader further said that the Government is doing nothing on these recommendations.
He appealed to the Governor to intervene so that the issues of Patwaries can be solved, else they will start protests.
