Pathania lays foundation stone of 100 bedded girls hostel

RAMNAGAR, Oct 4: In line with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision of bridging up the gaps in gender equality and giving a fillip to women education, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar today laid the foundation stone of 100 bedded girls hostel at Village Chowki Jandrore. The two-storied hostel building will be completed at an estimated cost of nearly Rs. 2.54 crore and will give a major boost to female education.
Besides this, work on three other such girl hostels, one each at Ramnagar, Basantgarh and Majalta (G S Banj) is likely to be taken up shortly.
Later Pathania flagged off  the annual yatra of Puji-Mata from Katwalat. Responding to long pending demand of public of the area, Pathania inaugrated the construction of road from main road to Katwalat. He further announced installation of high mast lights at Puji Mata Mandir and Chandi Mata Mandir, Birnu during Navratras. He also announced installation of new hand pump at Village Chowki.
Fresh transformers were announced for Dhabba Fufar, Dalot Paneli, Lutal, Mathur Langa and electrification at Gurialta, Khurkhal, Badhal,Romain, Chappal, Garhi, Puji, Kund, Guddian, Sugal, Rasein , Dagetar, Jandrore, Neeli, Lehri, Birnoo, Sand, Tagan, Kella, Kaid prey, Sulan , Badhal.
He  announced Rs two crore for macadamization and improvement of Ramnagar to Dalsar and Dalsar to Chowki roads. Water supply scheme of 30,000 gallon GSR for Morah Bansui of Chowki was also announced on the spot.
He further announced providing of funds for Katwalt Kuhl, Jandrore Kuhl, and Jogani nullah Kuhl. Instructions were passed on to concerned agencies for immediate completion of Sheep Husbandry Centre at Katwalt.
Pathania further announced Playground and protection work at HSS Chowki and immediate repair of dilapidated rooms at HSS Chowki.
