Pathania for nurturing Bani- Basohli- Billawar-Udr-Majalta as tourist circuit

KHOON, Oct 1: Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson BJP J&K and former MLA Ramnagar, today called for developing and nurturing a dedicated tourist circuit on the Dhar road while preserving, promoting and imparting state of art facilities at shrines and picturesque spots on Dhar road axis at Basohli, Bani, Billawar, Majalta, Panchari, Udhampur.
While speaking at an impressive gathering at Khoon, he called for promoting pilgrimage tourism in all-popular shrines, may it be the all popular temples of Shri Pingla Mata, Shri Chountra Mata and Shri Marada Mata, Sukrala Mata and Balasundri Mata, Shri Narsingh Ji temples at Ramnagar, Majalta, Aapshambhu temples of Dalsar and Khoon, Vasuki Naag temples at Dudu Basantgarh and Kote, popular Sudh Mahadev temple, temples of Krimchi, Bavour & Sankari. He further called for speeding up the provision of basic facilities in these areas.
Pathania said that this region has exquisite climate and beautiful topography which qualifies for nurturing it as a modal tourist destination while enroute to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple and Kashmir lacs of local devotees visit these religious spots every year.
He further said that picturesque spots of R C Peak, Parli Dhar, Dudu Basantgarh and Pancheri also need to be developed in order to nurture employment abilities as well as developmental potential in the area.
He further welcomed unfolding of Forest Clearance Act in the UT of J&K. He said this is a landmark decision in the history of tribals, STs and conferring of user rights on them has virtually changed the landscape of tribal people.
