RAMNAGAR, Nov 20: R S Pathania, BJP candidate from Ramnagar Assembly segment, while addressing largely-attended meetings at far-off locations – Babay, Sundla, Pathwar, Palnu, Khoon, Mansar and Pandora  has called for creating viable lift-irrigation opportunities  thereby enhancing prospects of agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, pisciculture and herbs-rearing in the hilly, picturesque belt.
Pathania sought formulation of lift-irrigation scheme at Ujh river in Ramnagar which would benefit Jofar, Lehar, Siameri, Plaei, Chigla Balota, Kansala, Marta, Kulthian, Basantgarh, Rasligaderan, Chakal, Rashou, Chatrari, Keya, Incha and other surrounding villages of Ramnagar.
While training guns at weak, lackluster, visionless leadership of Ramnagar, Pathania said that it was biggest travesty of time and place that Kailash Kund flanking boundary of Ramnagar is originator of four main rivers – Tawi, Ujh, Neeru and Basanter, with all these rivers passing through Ramnagar, but not even a single hydel/irrigation project has ever been planned or conceived by anybody, particularly those who had been raising hollow claims of developing Ramnagar as a model constituency. And the potential of rich natural resources remains still untapped with the people living in these far-flung villages surviving over there on out-of-station labourer-ships as their small land-holdings are not sufficient enough to sustain their families.
Among who accompanied him in the tour included Sham Lal, Mandal Pradhan,  Bishan Das, Mandal Pradhan Majalta, Sorav Gupta, Rajinder Sharma, Capt Gopal Singh, Gopal Dass, Mohan Lal advocate, Amit Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Virinder Singh, Vinu Jamwal  and other.
