JAMMU, Aug 2: Parvinder Bharti has been appointed as Chairman of Ellaquai Dehati (ED) Bank, a Regional Rural Bank sponsored by State Bank of India. He took over the charge of the bank from A K Razdan who has been repatriated to the sponsor bank after serving the EDB for four years.
A small but impressive function was organized to welcome the new Chairman at Head Office of the Bank. Speaking at the occasion, Bharti said that the pace of the development initiated by Razdan will be accelerated to achieve the desired goals. Bharti said that we have to coordinate our efforts to serve the society in a better way. He said that new initiatives will be taken to reach the common masses in the area of operation.
Speaking on the occasion, Razdan thanked the management and the staff of the Bank for providing full support for running the bank during his tenure as chairman.
