JAMMU, May 20: A paramedical staff training programme organized by Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) Charitable Hospital in collaboration with Zuventus Healthcare Ltd., was concluded here today.
The programme was organized to enhance the professional skills and capabilities of the paramedical staff for the betterment of patient care, patient safety and emergency healthcare services.
During the training sessions, Dr Rajesh Gandotra, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon SVMM, delivered valuable lectures and practical guidance on the management of orthopaedic emergencies and trauma care.
Dr Anita Vig Kohli, retired professor and Head of the Department (HOD) of Anaesthesiology at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, conducted an informative session on emergency handling and critical patient care management.
Dr Arvind Kohli, Medical Director SVMM, who coordinated the programme in collaboration with Zuventus Healthcare Ltd., highlighted that such training programmes play a vital role in upgrading the knowledge, efficiency and emergency response skills of paramedical staff, ultimately improving patient care services, patient safety, teamwork and overall hospital functioning.
Dr Rabinder Rattanpal, Medical Superintendent SVMM, encouraged the paramedical staff to continue enhancing their professional knowledge and practical skills to ensure quality healthcare services for patients.
Among others who attended the programme included B B Gupta (sr. vice president), Dharamveer Chopra (vice president), B S Jamwal (general secretary), Dr Jatinder Gupta (secretary) and Dr Sachin Gupta (treasurer), along with Dr Yashpal Karsyal, assistant Medical Superintendent, Pawan Sharma, Liaison Officer SVMM and representatives of Zuventus Healthcare Ltd.
President SVMM, Amar Chand Gupta, appreciated the dedication and sincere services rendered by the paramedical staff and motivated them to continue serving patients with commitment and compassion.
Certificates were distributed among all participants who successfully completed the programme. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
