JAMMU, Aug 11: Jawahar Lal Pandita was unopposed elected president of the Temples and Shrines Prabandak Committee (TSPC) Tral/Awantipora Tehsils, the elections of which were held under the supervision of H L Bhat as election authority, today.
Piaray Lal Bhat, was elected vice president, while Chuni Lal Bhat and Sanjay Raina as general secretary and treasurer respectively.
“The elections were held as per the schedule already communicated through media and after adopting a transparent and democratic mechanism, the office bearers were elected,” informed election authority, Mr Bhat.
