Pandey, Mehta empanelled as Secretaries

JAMMU, Apr 13: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) today cleared empanelment of two Jammu and Kashmir cadre IAS officers-Sudhanshu Pandey and Arun Kumar Mehta as Secretaries in the Government of India.
A total of 28 IAS officers were cleared for promotion by the ACC today.
While Pandey, an IAS officer of 1987 batch is on deputation with the Centre for past quite some time, Mehta is posted as Financial Commissioner (Finance) in Jammu and Kashmir.
Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr Jitendra Singh, Incharge DoPT, said the DoPT proposal on promotion of the IAS officers has been approved by the ACC and the orders are being issued.
