Srinagar, July 14: Militants today shot at and critically injured a National Conference (NC) worker and Panch in Shopian district of South Kashmir.
Police said that Mohammad Yaqoob Malla was shot at Bus Stand in Shopian town this afternoon.
The police said Malla, a Panch of Tahlipora, was rushed to Srinagar hospital in a critical condition.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. This is second attack on him and in the last attack his brother was injured when militants fired at him.
