Reiterating the stand of National Conference stand on Article 370, Mr Rana said this is a  formidable bridge between the State and Union of India, which had been incorporated in the Constitution after due thought. Impairing this provision will amount to weakening the strong bonds between the State and the country, he maintained.

The Provincial President exuded confidence that National Conference will reemerge as a force to reckon with and said that realization dawning over people in the wake of PDP-BJP Government’s abject failure on all fronts have changed the political dimensions in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the people were looking towards National Conference with hope and the party, which has all along remained in forefront for their legitimate cause, cannot afford to be a fence sitter. “Therefore, a heavy duty has cast upon every National Conference functionary and worker to meet the challenge with courage and fortitude”, he said and exhorted the cadre to gear up for their big role in steering out the state from the present uncertain situation.
