RAJOURI, May 7: Terming Pakistan a trouble maker in Kashmir, Member Legislative Council and senior BJP leader, Vibodh Gupta has said that Pakistan is anti-Kashmir as it created atmosphere of uncertainty which is ultimately becoming hurdle in development in the region.
While addressing public meeting at Bhatian village in Rajouri, advocate Vibodh Gupta said that uncertainty in Kashmir is planned conspiracy of Pakistan to weaken Kashmir economically so that Kashmiris remain in distress situation and participate in their mission of de-stabilizing the situation of Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan is not thinking in the interest of Kashmir because everybody knows that present situation is hurdle for development. “Peace is imperative for development but Pakistan is not giving peace a chance in Kashmir”, he said, adding that anti-Kashmir stance of Pakistan is drastically affecting the economy of Kashmir and people must realize this.
Appreciating the State Government for tackling the situation in better way, Vibodh said that present Government has taken bold step of giving amnesty to stone pelters only to give chance to them to live better life but still Pakistan is supporting the stone pelting situation and youth are being used for this ugly action. He said that Kashmiri youth must think that why they are falling prey of those who are hatching conspiracy to weaken them economically. He said that stone-pelters should check their motives as to why they are fighting when they pick up stones (against Indian forces).
He said that these youth must come forward and play role in boosting tourism potential of Kashmir. “Stone pelting will bear no results and instead it will create irritation and mis trust”, he said.
Launching salvo on separatists, Vibodh said that separatists are carrying forward the agenda of Pakistan only to keep their business on. “They are running their business on dead bodies of Kashmiris and miseries of people”, he said, adding that people should reject the policies of separatists. “Why nobody is asking them where their wards are studying?.
It is the responsibility of both the administration and civil society to make the youth of Kashmir understand the reality, instead of getting instigated by the false propaganda by a handful of people.
