Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch and Rajouri districts

Jammu : Pakistani troop once again violated the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Friday morning. According to reports, some mortar shelling and small arms fire were also done by Pakistan in Rajouri district in the state. That Indian Army is strongly retaliating to the cross-border firing by the Pakistani forces. No loss of lives or injuries have been reported so far.

“Pakistan initiated ceasefire violation around 8 am with the firing of small arms and shelling with mortars along the LoC in Mankote, Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch district, besides Nowshera Sector in Rajouri district,” an army official said adding that Indian Army was retaliating befittingly.
