JAMMU, Feb 1: A deputation of people from Pakherpora, Chrar-e- Sharief today met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today and brought several developmental issues of their area into her notice.
The deputation demanded expansion of the Jamia Masjid, Pakherpora in view of the growing population of the area. They also demanded strengthening of the local hospital with more staff and equipment and upgradation of Pakherpora-Rohmoo-Pulwama road besides creation of a sub zone in Education Department for facilitating the students of the catchment areas.
Responding to the demands of the deputation, the Chief Minister directed the MD, JKPCC to formulate an expansion plan for the Jamia Masjid, Pakherpora and get the designs jell with the architectural pattern of the nearby shrine of Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balkhi (RA).
Mehbooba Mufti assured the deputation that the Sub District Hospital, Pakherpora would be developed as a model hospital to cater better to the health requirements of the people of the area. She also assured appropriate action on other demands of the deputation.
