Srinagar, Dec 11: Pakistan today violated ceasefire in Hajipeer sector of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district forcing 5 families to migrate.
A senior official said that Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Hajipeer sector of Uri this morning and Army retaliated. He said that the firing started at around 9 a.m and stopped at 11.30 a.m. He said that both the sides used small and heavy arms during the cross border firing.

The shelling forced 5 families of Silikote village comprising 15 persons to migrate. They were put up in Government Middle School Uri.
Eleven families migrated from Silikote and Churnada on 10th November during cross LoC shelling. There are now 11 families in Uri comprising 44 members.
These families said that they want to go back to their homes but want bunker for their protection.
