JAMMU, May 31: Anil Kumar Padha has been re-elected as chairman of the Indian Society of Blood Transfusion & Immunohematology J&K Chapter, elections of which were conducted, here today.
Dr Meena Sidhu has been elected as vice chairperson, Sadiq Khan as secretary and Deepak Sethi as treasurer while Jawahar Jyoti and Ravi Puri were elected as executive members.
The elections were held under the supervision of Dr R R Paul and Annil Suri.
The new team, headed by Anil K Padha, was installed for a period of two years in the presence of Dr T R Raina, secretary general ISBTI national body.
Padha appealed all the members to join hands and reach out to the rural areas for creating awareness and strengthen the district level activities.
