Owner of demolished building missing, Beopar Mandal continues protest

KATHUA, June 4: The owner of demolished commercial complex, Mohinder Pal is still missing from the day his building was demolished by district administration led Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Municipal Council (MC) Kathua.
Family members of Pal are worried about his safety and well being as they have no contact with him.

The worried family members led by Tarsem Mahajan met SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh with the issue and they have also registered a missing complaint at Police Station Kathua and claimed that Mohinder Pal was very depressed over demolition action by the Municipal Council as he suffered losses running in crores due to the action of MC.
Meanwhile, the sit-in staged by Beopar Mandal Kathua entered day two today and got support from all political and social organization against the district administration.
All those present at the protest condemned the action of MC Kathua and demanded compensation to Pal for his losses due to the wrong action by MC Kathua.
Family members of the owner of demolish complex, Beopar Mandal, leaders of BJP, Congress, NC, PDP, Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan, Rajinder Singh, President Municipal Council and its Councillors, Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee members and others were also present in the protest.
On the other hand J&K High Court has summoned the Chief Executive Officer of MC Kathua in the case.
