Srinagar, May 4: All the outstation students who had gone to their homes post-clashes have returned to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar here and their exams shall be conducted on May 5.
An official of the NIT told Excelsior that all 1441 outstation students who had left the institute are back and have joined their classes. “The normalcy has completely been restored as all students are back,” he said, adding that their minor exams, in which they had not appeared earlier, shall be conducted on May 5.
When asked about the relationship between local and outstation students, the official said: “They are all sharing hostels, eat food together and playing joyfully. All of them are in friendly atmosphere and there is no problem at all now.”
