DODA, May 4: A deputation of All J&K Gaddi Sippi Tribes Welfare Association (GSTWA) led by its State president, Parveen Jaryal, today met Health and Medical Education Minister, Bali Bhagat, and apprised him of the difficulties being faced by the tribal community located in the higher reaches throughout the State.
The issues that were taken up by the deputation included lack of road connectivity and health facilities in higher reaches of Ramban, Chenani, Ramnagar, Bani, Billawar, Bhalla and Duddu Basantgar. The deputation stated that all these areas are hilly, inaccessible and without any road connectivity while the health facilities are totally invisible and the population being poor and remote leading life of feeding cattle folk like sheep, goats.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and on spot announced a dispensary for pure Gaddi Sippi village of Kansar, Bhaderwah.
