JAMMU, June 29: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has claimed in a meeting that wrong number of vacancies was advertised for Other Social Classes (OSC) at division level posts in medical education department.
Speakers in the meeting claimed that out of a total 497 vacancies only 12 where mentioned for OSC while as per 4 per cent reservation it should be 20.
M.R Bangotra, Union General Secretary appealed to the LG for earliest action to correct the error.
He also claimed that similarly in Kathua district posts, total vacancies were 177 and instead of 7 vacancies only 6 were mentioned for OSC.
The Union has also written to the LG in this regard.
