JAMMU, Nov 29: An 8-day orientation programme in Hindi for Urdu knowing teachers of various districts of Jammu Division, conducted by the Language Wing of State Institute of Education (SIE), Jammu, concluded today.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of HR Pakhroo, Joint Director, Trainings and Principal, SIE, Jammu.
During the programme, Shadi Lal Tengloo, Field Advisor, Language Wing, explained to the participants the importance of multilingual approach for enhancing clarity of concept and interpersonal relationship.
Thirty-two participants from various districts of Jammu division participated in the programme.
The programme was co-ordinated by Sushma Devi. Anil Kumar, KK Sharma, Dr Varchaskam Sharma, Anita Kumari and Alka Sharma, were the resource persons.
While speaking on the valedictory function today, HR Pakhroo, stressed on the importance of holding such programmes for enhancing the pedagogical skills of the teachers for better class room transaction.
