KISHTWAR, June 4: A JCB operator in his machine remained under the debris while working, after a big boulder fell on the JCB in Padder area here this evening.
As per reports during construction work on Sohal-Ungai road, suddenly a big boulder rolled down with debris and landed on the JCB working there.
Operator of the JCB machine Sumair, son of Farooq Ahmed, resident of Kushal Kishtwar remained under the debris along with the JCB.
When contacted SDM Padder, Rishi Sharma said soon after getting the information of the incident massive rescue operation was started but the trapped operator could not be retrieved.
He said that efforts were on but it may take some more time.
