Open COVID vaccination centres for all age groups: JWAM

JAMMU, May 9: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has claimed shortage of vaccine centres and slow pace of vaccination apart from expressing concern over the spike in COVID deaths and positive cases in J&K.
In a handout JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple said that the government should open COVID vaccination centres for all age groups and children to save them from the third wave of the pandemic.
He claimed that whole medical system has crumbled in the country and J&K.
Dimple said that people of J&K are in great stress due to spike in number of COVID deaths and positive cases.
He lauded the work of front line workers and expressed worry that specialist doctors and paramedical staff are becoming COVID positive while there is already a shortage of doctors and paramedical staff in the country.
