JAMMU, Aug 14: The BB Media Institute organized a guest lecture here today. The topic was study of glorious role of the press in the pre and post Independence and OP Sharma, reputed journalist, delivered the lecture.
Speaking about the role of the press, Mr Sharma appreciated the part played by the press in achieving Independence and now is engagement in building a strong and stable India. He also touched upon the part played by the Media in Jammu and Kashmir. He mentioned the difficult task being performed by the media in meeting the challenges of socio economic transformation and bringing an era of durable peace and faster development.
