JAMMU, July 14: Making aware about new pattern of examination (MCQs) recently announced by the University of Jammu, various Government Degree Colleges today organised online quiz competitions on different topics for 6th semester students.
Department of Arabic, Government PG College Rajouri organised a national level online quiz competition on the topic “Know about the Holy Quran” under the guidance of College Principal, Prof (Dr) Shakeel Ahmed Raina.
About 500 participants from different walks of life, different professionals and different age groups participated. Prof Anzar Ahmed Malik (HoD Arabic) was the organizing secretary of the program.
Participation of Dr Ajay Kumar Sharma, Dr Anita Sharma, Abishekher Singh and Dr Divya Sharma in the quiz competition was highly appreciated.
Principal of the College congratulated the participants and appreciated the Arabic Department of the College for organizing the event.
The Department of Punjabi, Government Degree College Nowshera organized an online quiz on topic “Gurmukhi Lippi, Its Origin and Development” under the supervision of College Principal, Dr Surinder Kumar.
In this quiz competition, a large number of students from various colleges participated in which first position was secured by Amandeep Kour of GCW Baramulla, second position was secured by Sukhvinder Singh of GDC Nowshera whereas the third position was bagged by Avneet Kour of GDC Poonch.
Dr Harbhajan Singh (HoD Punjabi) was the coordinator of the event while Gurjeet Singh (Assistant Professor) was the member of organizing committee.
